Suitable Hair Type

The Extra Resistant formula is intended for rebellious and/or frizzy hair that requires a stronger professional straightening formula. L'Oréal Professionnel distinguishes Extra Resistant from its standard Resistant formula for different hair conditions.

How to Use

This product is intended for professional use. Carefully read the manufacturer's instructions and assess the hair condition before beginning the service. Wear suitable protective gloves throughout the application.

1. Shampoo the hair with a suitable clarifying shampoo. Do not use conditioner and towel-dry thoroughly.
2. Divide the hair into four sections.
3. Place the Xtenso Oleoshape Extra Resistant smoothing cream into a non-metallic bowl.
4. Starting from the nape, apply the cream section by section along the lengths while avoiding direct contact with the scalp.
5. Distribute evenly without pulling or stretching the hair.
6. Allow the formula to process according to the manufacturer's instructions and the hair condition. Never exceed the recommended processing time.
7. Rinse the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water until all smoothing cream has been removed.
8. Towel-dry carefully.
9. Apply the Xtenso neutralizing cream evenly through the hair and smooth the hair straight during processing.
10. Allow the neutralizer to process according to the manufacturer's instructions, then rinse thoroughly.

L'Oréal recommends avoiding washing the hair for at least 48 hours after the service. For maintenance, use the recommended Xtenso Care products to help maintain smoothness and shine.
