L'Oréal Professionnel Xtenso Oleoshape Resistant is a professional in-salon permanent hair straightening system specially designed for resistant, wavy and slightly curly frizzy hair. The two-step system combines a smoothing cream with a neutralizing cream to help transform unruly hair into a smooth, straight, shiny and manageable-looking finish.

The Oleoshape formula is powered by a THIO complex and a nourishing Oil Trio of sweet almond, cottonseed and rice oils. These ingredients work together to help smooth the hair fibre, control frizz and support the hair during the straightening process.

Suitable Hair Type

The Resistant formula is designed for wavy and slightly curly, frizzy resistant hair. L'Oréal Professionnel also offers an Extra Resistant formula for very curly and coily frizzy hair.

How to Use

This product is intended for professional use. Carefully read the manufacturer's instructions and assess the hair condition before starting the service.

1. Shampoo the hair with a clarifying shampoo. Do not use conditioner and towel-dry thoroughly.
2. Divide the hair into four sections.
3. Wear suitable disposable protective gloves throughout the service.
4. Place the smoothing cream into a non-metallic bowl.
5. Starting at the nape, apply the cream section by section along the lengths, keeping approximately 0.5 cm away from the scalp.
6. Distribute the cream evenly without pulling or stretching the hair.
7. Allow the product to process according to the manufacturer's instructions and the hair's condition. Do not exceed the recommended processing time.
8. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until the straightening cream has been completely removed.
9. Towel-dry the hair carefully.
10. Apply the neutralizing cream evenly through the hair and smooth the hair straight during processing.
11. Leave the neutralizer on for approximately 10 minutes.
12. Rinse carefully for approximately 3 minutes or according to the manufacturer's instructions.

L'Oréal recommends avoiding washing the hair for at least 48 hours after the service and using the appropriate Xtenso Care products to help maintain smoothness and shine.
