Schwarzkopf Glatt Straightening & Curling Cream 2 + N is a professional hair straightening system specially designed for coloured and porous hair. The Glatt system helps transform curly, wavy and frizzy hair into a smoother, straighter and more manageable-looking finish.

The system combines a straightening cream with a neutralising balm. The straightening cream contains ammonium thioglycolate and a care complex including hydrolysed wheat protein to help condition the hair during the straightening process.

Suitable Hair Type

Glatt Formula 2 is designed for coloured and porous hair. Hair condition and porosity should always be assessed before carrying out a chemical straightening service.

Directions

Carefully read the manufacturer's instructions before use. Assess the hair and perform the recommended strand/elasticity test. Wash the hair gently and towel-dry. Divide the hair into four sections and wear suitable protective gloves.

Apply the straightening cream evenly to the lengths, keeping approximately 1 cm away from the scalp. Comb through carefully without pulling or tangling the hair. Keep the application time within the manufacturer's recommended limit.

Cover the hair and allow it to process according to the hair type and manufacturer's instructions. The professional Glatt system specifies an application time of 10–20 minutes and processing time of 10–20 minutes. Check the hair using the recommended rubber-band/elasticity test.

Once processing is complete, rinse the hair thoroughly for approximately 5–8 minutes until all straightening cream has been removed. Apply the neutralising balm evenly, process for approximately 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
